It is a specialized aluminum material for medium-high strength armoring. It boasts higher tensile strength and yield strength, stronger resistance to stretching, extrusion, and creep, and is less prone to deformation and loosening under long-term underground stress and temperature fluctuations.

Furthermore, its resistance to acids, alkalis, seawater, and salt spray corrosion is superior to 5052, making it suitable for most industrial outdoor applications, ordinary coastal areas, and mildly corrosive chemical environments. 3. 5154A High-Purity Armored Aluminum Strip

5154A cable shielding strip wholesale is a high-purity optimized modified version of the 5154 alloy. With strict control of impurity content and optimized alloy ratios and rolling processes, it is a high-end dedicated material for cable armoring. Compared to ordinary 5154 aluminum alloy, it boasts better material uniformity, stronger toughness, and zero cracking rate when wrapped.

2. Mechanical Performance Differences (Core Gap)

Pure aluminum strip is soft and has low hardness, poor resistance to external forces, and is prone to deformation and damage during construction and use, offering weak protection.

5-series (5052/5154/5154A) alloy aluminum strips offer significantly improved strength and hardness, with a performance gradient upgrade: 5052 is basically reinforced, 5154 is moderately reinforced, and 5154A offers high-performance stability.

4. Differences in Processability and Adaptability

Pure aluminum strips are easy to process and shape, but their performance is limited, suitable only for ordinary indoor cable applications. 5-series alloy aluminum strips, while maintaining high strength, retain excellent machinability, exhibiting no cracking during bending and winding, making them suitable for most power, municipal, and industrial engineering applications.

5. Cost Difference

Pure aluminum strips are inexpensive, suitable only for simple working conditions and basic projects with low budgets. 5-series alloy aluminum strips have a slightly higher unit price, but offer comprehensive performance, significantly reducing subsequent maintenance and replacement costs, resulting in a higher overall cost-effectiveness and suitability for various mid-to-high-end projects.
