3105 Aluminum Sheet for Wine Cap

 3105 aluminum sheet is a typical deep drawing material. The aluminum content is up to 98%. It has higher strength compared with the 1xxx aluminum alloy. It cannot be strengthened by heat treatment, but its corrosion resistance, formability and welding characteristics are also excellent.

1. Deep drawing performance. The deep drawing performance of 3105 alloy in O temper is better than that in H26 temper. The deep drawing performance of 3105 aluminum before cryogenic treatment is better than that after 24h cryogenic treatment.

2. Plasticity. 3105 aluminum sheet has highest plasticity in the annealed state, good plasticity in semi-cold work hardening, low plasticity in cold work hardening, and poor machinability.

3. Solderability. It has excellent weldability and is suitable for all existing welding techniques, of which arc welding is the best method.

4. Cold workability. Even under cold tempering conditions, the cold workability of 3105 aluminum alloy is very good. For all tempers, the bending radius of 3105 aluminum plate with a thickness of not more than 1/16 inch can range from 1/2 to 1.

5. Forgeability. If necessary, 3105 aluminum alloy can be forged in the temperature range of 950 to 700 F. Hot working can be done at 700 to 400 F.
